GarageBand Script - for Salling Clicker

Here is a script to use with Salling Clicker which will let you control Apple GarageBand with your Sony bluetooth mobile phone( In fact it should work with all Bluetooth phones - see above link for compatibility details).

This script is especially helpful when you want to record something and you are in another room, relaxing and cant be bothered running back & forth to your Mac to press record & stop. Apart from just being a cool thing to show your friends, it's also very useful too, as recording in another room takes you away from the noise of your computer therefore your sound quality will be much better.

To install this script : Open up Salling Clicker in System Preferences You 'll see "Clicker items" and "Scripts" menu's.
Just drag the file above " GarageBand.cgz " into either the scripts menu
or even just drag it right into the menu "box" named" Clicker items".
In Salling Clicker 2 this puts it with all the other standard clicker items like iTunes in your Sony phones "Accessories" menu.

In Salling Clicker 3 you will find Clicker is now a small Java application that you have permanently installed on your phone in "Applications"... much better as you dont have to press connect on your computer first. You just press connect on the phone, so as long as your phone is connected to AddressBook you've always got Salling Clicker ready to go...

Clear - Delete Selection

Yes/Joystick push - Play/Stop

Joystick Left - Rewind

Joystick Right - Fast Forward

Joystick Down - Next Track

Joystick Up - Previous Track

0 - Go back to the start

1 - Previous Event

3 - Next Event

7 - Save

8 - New Track





Thanks to Hannes Juutilainen's script to control many professional audio applications like Cubase & Logic Audio which is what I based this GarageBand script on.
